Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran

Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran (Persian: Forudgāhe beynalmellaliye Imam Khomeini, forudgah-e bein-ol-melali-yé Imam Khomeini) is located in Ahmadabad, Iran. The airport is located about 30 kilometres southwest of the city near the localities of Robat-Karim and Eslamshahr. It was designed to replace Mehrabad International Airport, which is in the west of the city, now inside the city boundaries. The airport, originally designated as Ahmadabad, is now named Imam Khomeini International Airport.











Chiang Rai Hotsprings, Thailand

Travelling from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai (about mid-way) there is this on hot spring where there are lots of souvenir shops and hot water springs very high up into the sky; just by the road side. Usually a place to stop for snacks and food and for some souvenir shopping. You can also cook eggs in the hot water (sold by the street vendors)




























Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok

Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok (meaning 'Golden Land' in Sanskrit), also known as (New) Bangkok International Airport, is an international airport serving Bangkok, Thailand. It was officially opened for limited domestic flight service on 15 September 2006, and opened for most domestic and all international commercial flights on 28 September 2006. The airport is currently the main hub for Thai Airways International, Bangkok Airways, Orient Thai Airlines, and Thai AirAsia. It also serves as regional gateway and connecting point for various foreign carriers. The airport is located in Racha Thewa in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan Province, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of downtown Bangkok. The name Suvarnabhumi was chosen by King Bhumibol Adulyadej and refers to the golden kingdom hypothesised to have been located somewhere in Southeast Asia.
