Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran (Persian: Forudgāhe beynalmellaliye Imam Khomeini, forudgah-e bein-ol-melali-yé Imam Khomeini) is located in Ahmadabad, Iran. The airport is located about 30 kilometres southwest of the city near the localities of Robat-Karim and Eslamshahr. It was designed to replace Mehrabad International Airport, which is in the west of the city, now inside the city boundaries. The airport, originally designated as Ahmadabad, is now named Imam Khomeini International Airport.
