Kemaro Island, is a small delta in Musi River, located about 6 km from Ampera Bridge. Kemaro Island is a recreation area in the headliner of the Musi River. Often held is the Chap Goh Meh event every Lunar New Year. On the island there is also a tomb of the daughter of Palembang. The princess was buried on the island and to his memory Kemaro built the Temple .
