Bekonscot, Beaconsfield, England

Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world's oldest model village. It is located in Beaconsfield, Bucks, just off the M40 and M25 motorways minutes by car or train from Central London. Bekonscot is different from other model villages; this is an entire miniature kingdom stuck firmly in an idyllic 1930s time warp. There are six little villages in a 1½ acre miniature landscape of farms and fields, castles and churches, woods, lakes and rolling hills. Time has stood still for 75 years, portraying rural England as it was in the 1930s.
